A/N:for Sirius and Harry Saturday on tumblr. vague prompt of harry hurt and calling sirius dad.

in this timeline peter was the secret keeper and betrayed the potters but sirius managed to keep harry and raise him. remus helps. marlene, dorcas and pandora all survive the era and don't have accidents. bc to me it seems weird that luna saw her mum die? did pan die protecting luna? hmm i don't like it . so in my mind, marlene and dorcas and pan are buds and they make sure she experiments safely and luna is safe and etc etc. oh and bc he has sirius to guide him harry takes muggle studies to understand the world his mum came from and not divination.

I'm not a medical expert and i twisted things to fit my plot.
Summary:
When Harry is hit by a car in Muggle London, breaking multiple bones, in front of hundreds of witnesses Sirius has no choice but to let the Muggles take him to hospital. Now Harry is in a medically induced coma that interferes with his magic and a terrified Sirius is way out of his depth. Good thing Remus is around to put a gang together to save the day. Eventually.
